Symantec Live Update is the mechanism used by many Symantec/Norton products such as, but not limited to: AntiVirus, Internet Security, and SystemWorks.

This SonicWALL signature identifies legitimate Symantec Live Update traffic. The primary purpose of this signature is for bandwidth management when used in the Application Firewall feature Over HTTP Proxy.
