The KoalaDC application was designed to be a client for the Direct Connect protocol. Direct Connect allows you to share files over then internet (or intranet) without restrictions or limits.

In order to fully detect/prevent KoalaDC, you must enable all "Direct Connect" related signatures.

This SonicWALL signature identifies legitimate KoalaDC traffic.
