Symantec Live Update is the mechanism used by many Symantec/Norton products such as, but not limited to: AntiVirus, Internet Security, and SystemWorks.

This SonicWALL signature identifies legitimate Symantec Live Update traffic. The primary purpose of this signature is for bandwidth management when used in the Application Firewall feature.
