Salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM) is a vendor of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions, which it delivers to businesses over the internet using the software as a service model.

This SonicWALL identifies any legitimate SSL traffic to Salesforce.com domains.

For this signature to be effective DPI-SSL Client Inspection must be enabled. When DPI-SSL is enabled, only applications that allow SSL certificates to be imported as a Root Certificate Authority (CA) will continue to function properly. For example, Firefox web browser allows users to import a Root CAs from the SonicWALL DPI-SSL. Other applications like Google Chrome and the Google Drive downloadable app do not allow this, and therefore will not work under DPI-SSL.
