Xunlei Thunder is a collection of Chinese language based, download managers for Microsoft Windows. It uses multipart downloads to increase speeds, creating multiple connections for different file segments. There is an English language version called Gigaget which is identical in functionality. Other products in the Xunlei Thunder collection are P2P-based.

This SonicWALL signature identifies legitimate Xunlei Thunder Download Accelerator traffic. Due to the nature of this application, this signature cannot be used to prevent this type of traffic, nor can it be used for bandwidth management.
