Download Master, by WestByte Software, is a download manager for Microsoft Windows. It uses multipart downloads to increase speeds, creating multiple connections for different file segments. Download Master's interface is in Russian, Ukrainian, or Belarusian only.

This SonicWALL signature identifies legitimate Download Master traffic. This signature can be used to prevent this type of traffic or for bandwidth management when used in the Application Firewall feature.
