CODESYS (https://www.codesys.com/) is a suite of hardware and software to develop industrial control and automation applications used in factories, machinary, power, HVAC, and other building automation systems, etc. It employs several programming languages and can run on multiple underlying communication buses, e.g. PROFIBUS, CANopen, EtherCAT, PROFINET and EtherNet/IP.
