YTD Downloader is an application that allows the user to download videos from various sites that stream videos such as YouTube, Facebook, UStream.tv, etc.

This SonicWALL signature identifies YTD Downloader attempts to videos download from YouTube. Please note, this signature will only work when DPI-SSL Client Inspection is enabled. This is because YouTube HTTP requests are protected by SSL protocol. DPI-SSL CI is required to apply control to outgoing SSL connections.
