Limewire uses the Gnutella network to locate files, as well as to share files between users. LimeWire also has limited BitTorrent support. This application is known to use the BitTorrent Protocol, and it is necessary to enable the signatures from BitTorrent Protocol application in addition to the signatures of this application.
