Application: GNUTellaGnutella is a file sharing network. There are many popular clients for Gnutella including Limewire, BearShare, Morpheus, BearFlix, Cabos, Phex, and more. This event indicates that Gnutella network traffic is crossing the SonicWALL unit from the internal network to the external network, meaning a client is attempting to connect to the P2P network. Enable this application to block these clients from accessing the GNUTella P2P network.
